y not look for a bigger displacement engine first...
@ palaykhanthankz bro,i mite b needing ur help n will call u when eva i do :d
@ Ghunchawanted to work on the 2nz-fe
@ hassamv have everything planned up buddy
Good stuff (Y) and goodluck with the project.
gud luk jz
man u gotta be kiddin.....bhai ap ki gari pehley hi bari tez hai ....yah sab karney ki kya zaroorat hai.
by the way will meet u next week as im having papers this week and discuss these things wid u!!!
first thing that will go is engine block,
^ you want me to explain above sentence. yr car's engine is not designed for double horsepower than factory settings. Toy engineers produced the unit after lot of research which they dont share over the net because they want you to buy bigger car or another engine for yr existing car when you will blow it up.
i agree wid levin.it wud a nice if u can get to 150bhp safely.but it seems difficult.and dnt forget to upgrade the brakes.
love to see man what u doing...i own the same model but i cant do any things like that....but will waiting for yr project
yara contact toyota..they may help u install abs in yr gli..as now they r offering in new....
^ he's better off buyig previous gli and sell this newer gli model:) that was 1.6l at least- if so fond of of "gli " thing.
i would personally suggest to stop taking "panga with new shape corolla before its too late but who listens here,,.
u r right...but old model engine will be old as well...
if he gets th ebrake issue right ...i dont think there is gona be any issue
you can blow up brand new engines in weeks .. and you can keep using old wornout engines for months,, if you just know.."how to".
prevoius gli had stronger engine than newer gli.
yet he is going to change the internals .....well i never drove or had that car...u maybe right on that ...even that car has more grip and no brake issue..correct me if i m wrong
plus going for turbo on these engine involve blowing for sure...cuz they never ment for these
braking issues vary, also depends on how much horsepower you have to stop. drum brake properties are different than discbrake. this is another broad topic.
@Jz. @Levin is absolutely right, you are going to do an experiment results of which are already known and it is for sure a perfect recipe for disaster and an exercise in futility.
Think cool and then go ahead; after all its your car, your money and your safety brother.
waah bhai. awesome stuff. Can i have your pistons after you fry them? Need a good paper weight.
nice project oin ther ,bak in OCT 2007 i saw 3sgte swapped 2006 se-saloon at HPR ISB,it was running 3rd gen 3sge wid gt35r turbo and had brakes upgraded to brembo bentilated discs, dnt know its running or notbcoz it had some starting prob.ahad can tell the whole story
jz anytime bro i cant wait to see this car go (Y)(Y)
Good luck! But i'd suggest supercharging, and if im not mistaken there is an SC12 on sale on PW. look it up.
best of luck
