For majority of families making a Kashmir side trip, a day's stay in Muzaffarabad would be preferred, i believe. Kindly share names of some good restaurants of the city which you folks have tried out, so that we may continue our journey's forward in good health... and fit stomachs!

Yaar muzzafarabad mein lahore jaisay khaabay toh nahi hain, jis hotel mein stay karo wahan dine in bhi hota hai. PC, sangam hotel. And village view restaurant ache hain. Baaki agar koi desi food lover hai toh wahan k dhaabon ka khaana bhi lajawab hota hai.
Aur aik baat agar koi banda kel tak jaye kashmir mein toh trout fish lazmi try karay. It's a must have item there.

Hotel sangam, it's a nice family hotel, food specially BBQ at Terris is good with very pleasant river view.
It also has its own parking, and from parking side you along with family can go to river side. I stay there many times.

you have to bargain for the rate.

if anyone want to eat food in kashmir like lahore.. karachi then hotel dine in facility like sangam etc is best but for real kashmiri food u need to explore madina market .... there are so many small hotels which offer delicious and healthy food ... e.g pakistan hotel.... must try GUSHTABA.... Kashmiri baqrkhani....
