I just bought a 2013 Honda City Aspire with the CASKA multimedia system. Unfortunately the previous owner lost the original navigation memory card. However till I buy one from Tracking World or TPL Trakker (TPL is better in my opinion since it is Sygic based and they are official data providers for Sygic regarding Pakistan) there is a third and free option called MapFactor. They have a free navigation software for cars which use Open Street Maps.
Now even though they are not the best maps around, being open source means I can update maps myself and well, it is free after all. My family bought an Altis couple of years ago and they didn't get the GPS SD card. I was able to easily install the MapFactor software on it (Dad doesn't use it though because it's not that user friendly but it works).
But here is the problem and how I need help from fellow owners. All these devices are using Windows CE as their OS. MapFactor is compatible. But for it to run properly the main .exe file needs to be in the right folder with the correct name. So for example Honda's CASKA system depends on a file called navigator.exe placed in a folder called Navigator on the SD card, my installed software should match that (I will have to make a folder with the same name, place everything in it and match file name)
Since I never had original card I do not know what file structure CASKA uses. So if anyone of you has some spare time and have the original SD card, it would be awesome if you can just share a pic/screenshot of the files inside the SD Card, its folders etc. Mainly to know where and how should I place the main .exe file.
