Salam Guys
The fuel used all over the world has higher octane number than the one we get in Pakistan.
Fuel with Research Octane Number (RON) 91-92 is pretty much the standard currently.
While the fuel we get here is 87 RON from almost all petrol pumps i guess.
Except "Total" which claims their fuel 90 RON already.
PSO recently introduced new "Altron" range of fuels and plans to make Altron Premium the basic option now which is 92 RON. Currently it is being sold on the same price as old fuel.
So what does this mean for our bikes? Is this the next go to fuel now?
Anyone tried it yet.
We have bikes ranging from engine compression ratio of 8 to 10.
