best of luck for the project. But i have my doubts on this 1. The SRS stands for supplementary restraint system .it incls ,airbag , impact sensors, seat belt tensioners etc. The airbag is a major part but very delicate to handle. I doubt the cost will be quite alot. The airbags/seatbelts have a small quantity of explosives which are blasted on impact. The airbag is depl in 1/10 th of a second due to the explosives. When the signal is sent the seatbelts pull the occupant back to a min certain distance away from the airbag as too close to the airbag n it can be fatal. A person in Karachi put a seatbelt holder sought of thing in the seatbelt pastener to get away with the beeping sound n lite on the dash. The circuit was complete on impact n upon impact in his CL7 or CL9 the airbags deployed n the occupant suffered from a broken neck n was killed on the spot. honda techs world over recommend to wait min 10 mins after disconnecting battery terminals too remove any static before remooving airbag as it is so dangerous to mess abougt with them. I will not recommend u bringing the airbag with ur lugguage due gto the reasons menntioned above. If the airport scanning machines detect explosives u mite land up in trouble. Plus the static factor to avoid depl of airbag is anotgher reason. If still u insist on bringing the airbag, just remove it n place it in a separate container n not att to the steering. Btw honda charges 180k for the complete srs system which includes the airbags seatbelts n sensors to replace the system in case of an impact.
