Last Weekend, we had a day trip to a relatively little known place called 'Kamal Ban, or Kamal Bun'. Ban or Bun is the word used for Jungle. It is a beautiful secluded place about 7 km off the main road. Tourists rarely go there, as there are no facilities: and the track looks difficult to tackle, though it is actually not. We started off early-around 5 am. Had a wonderful breakfast at a friends' in Balakot, crossing a narrow suspension bridge on a Suzuki motor, as our friend though our off-wheeler is too wide to fit. Once we had crossed, we were positive that our surf could have easily fitted onto the bridge.
After the breakfast, we walked back over the bridge, climbed onto our Surf, and continuted. Around 12 mid day, we started on the dirt-track, beginning right where the Pine Park hotel, Khannian is located.
