we hav with us old gen altis, drove altis cruisetronic only once and the new one is really really superior in drive class economy comfort etc.

ive heard the new altis is faster in 0-60 than the previous one..mainly because of the aero dynamics and stuff..true or not?

new altis is way better with all the gadgets and stuff engine same but shape and body is better also DVD is given and the brakes are way better as old altis sucked in braking ability

As per my knowledge it is slower coz of worse power to weight ratio as compared to old one

so ur saying that the new manual altis is just as fast as the old auto altis..very hard to believe..but ive heard it somewhere in the 9-10 sec range 0-60..if what ur saying is correct then shame on toyota! =D

But Drive And Road Grip On New One Is Better....!!

i Would Rather Buy Some Fresh Import JDM Loaded Corolla Or Some Loaded Premio In This Price Tag...!!

old altis is better if u only need accellaration.it definately beats the new one.but the new altis is alot better in everything else lighter steering ,better brakes.better road grip,better gadets n interior etc.shape bhi fit hai.let me remind u guys that the difference in price that u are calcilating is wrong .u cannot compare a zero meter car wid a 4 yr old used crap.2000k mai ye zero meter milti hai aur 1200k mai wo 3 ya4 saal purani used milti hai(neglect the very rough estimates of price).i agree that the price is still high but its a beautiful car n it beats the old one in everyyyyyyyyyythin (except accellaration)

@internal.yar maine kuch thori si search ki hai gross weight of old 1600kg new 1630kg.NOT SURE. i think ziada diafference hona chaiye

well on just comparing the shapes well i like OLD Altis Shape,
Rest New Altis is perfect and better in all accesories and from all oither aspects...
Old Altis can be modified very best what i personally think,but new has always been new,i m comparing shapes of both so old will look good on modifying than newer,and i like old's back shapes and newer front shape...lolz
