بھائی مجھے یہ پوچھنا ہے کہ سیکنڈ ہینڈ گاڑی خریدتے وقت اوپن لیٹر والی گاڑی لینی چاہیئے یا وہ گاڑی لینی چاہیئے جو کی مالک کے اپنے نام پر ہو، پلیز آج کل کے قوانین کے تناظر میں گائیڈ کریں ، اکثر اوقات گاڑی پسند آتی ہے لیکن وہ اوپن لیٹر پر ہوتی ہے، بعد میں ٹرانسفر کرانے کے لئے ایکسائز والے پیسے زیادہ مانگتے ہیں ، لیکن ہی بھی ہے کہ کئی لوگ گاڑی کو جان بوجھ کہ اوپن لیٹر پر رکھتے ہیں ، پلیز گائیڈ کریں

I would sincerely suggest to always buy that car, which is currently registered in the name of the person selling that car. At least, I will always prefer it!

Open transfer letter cars may be avoided. They may sound appealing with regards to the price, however, one may face difficulties in getting it registered in his / her name. Secondly, one may never know that in how many hands it has passed, i.e. No. Of actual owners.

Some persons keep the vehicles on Open transfer letter, so that resale doesn't get affected.

I am not sure regarding the exact date, however, as per authentic news, after some days, severe action is going to be taken against the persons, driving the vehicles on Open transfer letters, resulting in even confiscation / impounding of vehicles. Relevant authorities have warned all concerned people time and again, to get the vehicles transferred in their own names.

q na jama karwao tax ap ? zarur karwao. i live in kpk got sindh car. token are updated Alhumdulillah till dec 2020. pochta koi nahi sindh wali gariyo ko zada koi outside sindh. but being a responsible citizen karwa do jama. agar nahi tou its ok up to you. I have seen sindh cars tax token are pending from last 5,5 6,6 years.

So do you think i am wasting my money? But, at some point, if i sell my car, the new owner will ask to get it done for me or minus the pending token tax money. isnt the same thing? And what if the person is filer, what he gona show in the end of year no token tax paid while doing a file return?

if the car is not transferred outside SINDH and taxes are paid elsewhere (not in sindh) every payment is invalid. filer non filer is 2ndry issue.

oh ok ok. i got it. NO i always pay token tax in sindh excise. I know about paying token tax somewhere else is totally waste of money. I thought you are saying running sindh car in any other province with updated token tax is useless as the car is not runnin in sindh.

Its on my name, and pay tax to sindh excise. Can i pay token tax in KPK? or just safe side better to pay txes in sindh excise. which is civics center i guess.

only in sindh - at excise office civic centre or any national bank with excise counter.
the best shortest time in & out national bank branch is at M. A Jinnah Road Kandawalla building next to Nishat cinema (now under demolition) opposite Amma Centre

Any method of yearly tokens payment here in the city Hasan Abdal & Tehsil Hasan Abdal as well , District Attock , Division Rawalpindi Punjab for the car of Sindh registered number and the registration is on my name???
What will be the cost of 2020 tokens payment???

What do you mean by 5 years? you need to update token for this year. its around 2200 or 2300. check your last token receipt.

BTW why its written RF after your name on sindh excise. whats the RF means?
