I own a charade 84 with stock engine, been the owner for almost 4 years, the engine is in good shape, acceleration is smooth and near to perfect. No heating problem, literally. The temperature meter hardly rises sometimes in sunny days. Now, I want to install an AC, and I have not heard good things about non stock ACs fitted in 1000cc cars. Can anyone share any experience with his/her charade before and after installing a non stock AC (my mechanic told me mitsubishi condensors are really good, low powered and effecient). I mean, the average that I get these days is around Rs 10/km on petrol (not sure but I guess it is around 10) and Rs 3.5 - 4 on CNG (inside city, mostly driven in peak hours on shahrahefaisal), I want to know what would happen to my average, how much the AC is going to effect the performance of the engine. The amount of money I should expect to spend on the installation and the stuff too. And, any good place, cost and service wise, you might know to get this work done from. My money is hard earned and I am really concious about spending it
