alternately u can stick masking tape on the emblem and cut the extra. OR use a silver marker
Marker do not stay for a week. Masking tape is difficult to cut accurately.

Nice DIY. Another way of doing it is, you can take an accurate snapshot of the logo and take it to a guy in Peshawar Mor who has a plotter and he'll cut a pvc sticker for you. You can use that sticker as a stencil and take it off once its painted.
