ah ! so finally we are going to get the swift in our country/ nice to see that. But still many questions regarding the price, engine and variants, I dont think so that PS will give all with some reasonable price. They might ask 10Lac+ for 1.3L (if they produced) with some accessories which Cultus VXL currently come with (Power windows, Alloys, etc) plus they might offer some extras like ABS, SRS airdbags to beat the imported market Vitz,belta etc. No wonder they offer a basic model for more than 8.5 Lac.

Personally I think PS should give us options rather then just finishing one model from its range for the sake of introducing another ( with a big price tag) . Suzuki Reno which is far more spacious, luxurious and also have a lot of resemblance with cultus, could be introduced as the successor of cultus. And the swift should be offered with some extra power (atleast 1.3L) for performance seeker buyers. Tell me if I am wrong. Take a look at Suzuki Reno (Also sold under the badge of Chevrolet and Daewoo, orignally a daewoo.

the pics are quite tempting & mouth watering and i hope that the price will be logical. The thing im afraid of is that what if paksuzuki is unable to maintain its quality standards. Like Liana which was a wonderful car in many aspects and was a good value for money but the way Paksuzuki handled it was miserable. The engine which swift has is also an M13A engine which is the same equipped in the Liana, and if Liana was unable to come out of burning coil issues etc & specially when even technicians at Paksuzuki are still not able to cope up the M13A of Liana then im afraid the M13A in swift is in danger too

The fun part is that Suzuki for the first tym is introducing the Face lift model
the front grill and the rear lights nd the bumper are off the face lift in other parts of the world.

this is either being done due to late launch or to cope up wid the world lyk Toyota did after the indus shape and a decade later i.e (changing the shape wid the world and Honda also does the same,)
