Please help fix my projector lamp problem

Hi all. We have these lights in my dad's corolla.

The problem I'm facing is that the lenses of both of the lights do not properly align with their sockets. This causes the light not to show the sides of the road. All the light is concentrated in the center.
Here's a picture

I've spent a lot of time thinking of a solution but the only solution that comes to my mind is this one:

When u tilt the lights, there are screws visible on the front side (Behind the highbeam reflectors) What I think is that these screws will help me move the lens towards the center. But these screws are not accessible from the backside of the light. They can only be accessed by removing the front cover. Now what I want to ask is that is it wise to get the front cover removed and are there any professionals who can remove the cover and put them back the way they are.
P.S. I need to get this problem solved soon because the visibility is not good. Thanks

the projection or aim of the lights can be fixed by simply taking them off or by accessing and checking the projector housing from the rear.

check to see if it loose or there is play on it...if it feels fixed..take the whole light assembly off and then have it checked

i wont recommend you to remove the front cover cus if you dont put it back correctly in rain water will come inside your headlight and you will see bubbles, thats a common problem with aftermarket headlight, other thing i was thinking is that put a fog light instead of playing around with headlight but since u already got them, then try to change the direction for fog lights, so they can spot on the side

@Szuberi I've checked the housing its doesnt have any play. There is only one screw on the back. If u play with that screw the lens only moves upwards or downwards.

fog lamps will do the job for u.
tilt them out wards like i have done to increase the view on the sides of the roads. its worked for me.

do u see more at night with projectors

or same like stock.

I think the aim of projector headlights is to concentrate both of the beams to one spot in the center to amplify the light there. I'd like to ask the experts (after alot of searching and no success) how to exactly calibrate the lights. What i mean is, is there any diagram, method to properly align the lights to ? any distance or a drawing on a wall ? (i knwo they're adjusted using the screws the thing i'm looking for is what's the optimal setting). Have tried tinkering but still haven't found the optimal setting

they're more focused than stock but i don't think they're more intense, that's until i actually get em properly calibrated.

i bought mine exactly as yours after seeing em on pakwheels/orkut. how much did yers cost ?

@Shani248. Bought them for 13k. I've fixed the problem. Its not about getting them properly calibrated because the projectors that are present in these lights are sh**. This often happens with aftermarket projector lamps. I had a pair of mitsubishi exceed L300 lights lying around. I opened them and removed the projectors and replaced them in the other lights and now I've got much better visibility as these projectors are much better than the ones that originally came with corolla's lights.

i bought em for 10500 and yea the lights in em were a bit shitty. So u'd suggest i take out projectors from some other light ? i was thining hid ? but that'd be expensive a tad bit illegal and they'll have less life than these.

The calibration process i'm talking about is to focus both beams on the street to be superimposed on each other properly. Haven't found a way to properly do that.

I wouldnt suggest hids because the projectors arent working the way they should and u wont get promising results even if u put hids in them. If u can find some lights that have better projectors then I'll suggest that u replace the projectors in ur lamps. But keep in mind that if the lights arent properly sealed after changing the projectors, then water will get into them in the rain.

if they are aftermarket rip offs they probably are missing the slotted aperture and aimed back reflector in the projector housing.

Usually in any headlamp assy you should have one or 2 screws of horizontal and 1 or 2 screws for vertical aim - otherwise it cant pass as road legal (but in Pakistan a bullock cart is road legal - and so is a thin tyred mini truck with 1 ton load on it)

@Xulfiqar. Yes they WERE the aftermarket rip offs. Now they're lying in the storeroom. Thats where they belong, not on the car. I would suggest anybody who wants to buy the aftermarket projector lamps not to because they offer zero visibility.
