Hi, we own a honda city 2001 from last 10 years, it was an exceptional car with very good fuel average, it used to give 14-15 in city on petrol and around 230 on full gas tank. But from last 1 year its being used as secondary car so its neglected by us. Now this car has developed following problems.
- Fuel average on petrol dropped to 10 on petrol and 160-180 on CNG full
- Missing and drop in rpm. on cng it even shuts down. So I am not able to drive it on CNG.
as petrol prices are sky rocketing and I foresee some more price hike in near future so running this car on petrol is not economical at all. I was considering to do followings to get this car fit again.
i. Replace its plugs immediately as I don't remember when was the last time i replaced those.
ii. Replace plug wires
iii. A full tuning of car from some expert
I am based in islamabad so please suggest me what plugs and cables should i get that runs good on CNG. Also let me know some good and reliable place for purchasing those.
