Can you please tell me if you experienced any drawbacks after removing the catalytic converter (such as increased engine noise)?
Also, did you feel a change in power by a significant amount? The cata converter looks terribly BLOCKED in the picture you posted :P.
guys, I just removed cat conv from my 2008 civic prosmatic (86K mileage) as some part of it broke lose and started rattling....certainly sound has gone up but boy o boy, its fast now, now it feels like i am driving 1.8 car.......
metal pipe can be installed in place of removed cat converter to restore the original sound.it has worked for so many civic ownerscontact details are as follows:
