sorry hamza i couldnt reply earlier. Well first tell me which market did you go to ???? somewhere in old lahore???
and about chinese ones. Yes they are not reliable when compared to japanese ones. I would say if you are willing to buy a chinese one for 23-25 thousand put another 20 thousand and go for japanese.
But please ask whats included in warranty of 1 year.
Is it everything from motor etc, leaks etc???
Confirm this first.
Well i dont think a 3.6 kva would run an AC, no way in my view even if its a petrol one. Always remember petrol ones have no power loss when run.
forexample if the written power of petrol is 3.6 kvs,
it would definitely give 3.5kva when in use, so power loss in minimal in petrol ones.
In diesel ones power loss is more than petrol ones.
3.6kvs diesel would give you 3.3kvs approx to use.
Gas ones have the lowest actual power when in use.
3.6kva gas powered one would have real power of 3.0-3.1 kva max. So keep this in mind.
well i dont know what advice to give you. It might be a risk since you will be paying well over 20 thousand. Its all up to you. Its not that all chinese generators turn out bad. Its just your luck if you get a good piece in the first place.
Its just like suzuki cars and toyota cars. Suzuki have poor quality control therefore its your luck if you get a good suzuki car and you wont have any problem at all on other hand if for some reason you get a bad piece it will give you trouble. Its all about chinese quality control.
but i would say if you have the budget of 35-45 thousand you can buy japanese ones of 3.6-4 kva.
so its up to you.
wesey i was thinking of buying one too just for winter loadshedding. But i am still confused between buying a UPS or a small generator for winters.
ups- 500kvs- 3500-4000rs
ups- 1000kva- 7000-9000rs
chinese 500kva generator -4000-5000rs
chinese 1000kva generator- 8000-9000rs
so price of ups and chinese generators almost same. So i am thinking of buying a small 500/1000kva generatoe just for winters- (sep- may period) which comes with 1 year parts and labour warranty. It seems like a good deal to me. Even if it blows up there wont be much loss to me as the price is quite nominal.
But i would prefer to buy a diesel or petrol japanese honda generator for summer period (may-august end) which would cost be around 40000rs which would run an ac too.
Thats my plan.
I cant risk 25-30 thousand on chinese generator which if gorforbid blows up i will loose huge money in one go. so if you want to invest more buy japanese one. If on small budget chinese ones are a good bet for sure.
but believe me that 3.6kva china one for 13000rs seems like a really really good deal. I might go for something like that. Was that a petrol one or diesel one???????? and what sort of warranty does it come with and which market did you visit????
i wanna have a look at them too.
