You know, the reason I like this car is that I am 24 (which I think is young). I have no family to support (single), and more often than not I am alone in my car.
I could not buy a Civic (didn't have enough money) and didn't have money to buy a GLi too. The only reason I didn't buy GLi/Civic was money, not choice.
But after keeping this for almost a year, I really don't find any problem with this car. My walid sahab has GLi, its average is very bad. I don't think I could afford it if I had that car. Its pretty much the same case with Civic. Its mileage is not good.
City stands somewhere in between all these choices. My person verdict would be that for those who are single, want a car that looks sporty, have around 1.3M, and want to buy a car which is a realistic choice, should go for Honda City. I say realistic because someone with 1.3 Million could probably buy you a nice RX-8 as well. But mileage wise and resale/parts wise, its not a 'realistic' choice. A local assembled car is the best one considering all these points.
For those who are single, young, don't have a family to support yet, I think City is a very good choice. May be for people with bigger family too, but I don't know that yet. May be Corolla/Civic is better for bigger families? I don't know. But I honestly believe City is good for young guys.
