i got 12.5cr wiseco pistons,running them fine without any problem on hi-octane,just had to keep an eye on the knock sensor while tuning.

tuning is everything,if you have the right tools and knowledge,tuning any setup is possible here in pakistan.

i have no idea how much power would you make on your d16,but i would still suggest a b16. A b16 with even I/H/E with cams would make more power then your allmotor d16.

Octane boosters are nothing but marketing gimmicks . Just use high octane

Compression results r not good....
One piston is giving 16.5:1 cr
others r 12.6:1 cr

do a wet compression test on the lower reading cylinders,if the numbers go up then you have ring seal issue

Actually i purchased complete allmotor d16 with some one.....
He betrayed me badly....

As i already mentioned first gas kit was f***ed..
I replaced the gas kit. This time i doubled the gas kit......

But compression was to much high... as it already was....
Although there was too much knock.... just on 2nd gear.
I replaced the map sensor... tried to reduce knock by little bit tune up...
but no change.... :mad:

Now it is the time to check what is really happening...
Went to the work shop, checked compression... Again high...
i.e 12.5:1 , 12.5:1, 16.5:1, 16.5:1....

even compression tester f***ed up...

Finally i decided to open engine...
When head removed, chamber removed, rods and pistons was in my hand telling the whole story... 3 pistons were finished completely...

also the crank....
main begains...
Rings....

Rods were slightly damaged...

When i purchased this setup, i was told that in this engine you have following things..
1. High compression JAPANES pistons....
2. Eagle rods...
3. Cam gear...

But there was'nt any japanees pistons, nither eagle rods....

They used 3rd class Pistons.. the band was named as "f***"...
Stock rods were used either than eagle....
Cam gear was there... ok

Engine setup was done by completely non professional persons...
I am saying this because there wasnt any calculations made before under going this project...
