Capacitors need careful and step-wise installation. Amir was not familiar with this procedure, so I called STJ174 and wrote down the steps.
There are two negative, two positive and one remote wire terminals on the Capacitor.
The negative terminal is connected first.
A small bulb (provided with the capacitor) is used as resistance for slow charging of the capacitor. The capacitors are packed without charge. If connected directly, they can severely damage the circuitry ... therefore, they are supposed to be charged with the resistance (through provided bulb). The bulb is connected in series between positive power wire and the positive terminal on capacitor.
The charge slowly builds up from zero, and it should be brought up to at least 11.0 volts.
