please tell me that in 1 picture it shows that your ride is at 80 horsepower and so on after a nitrus purge ... what exactly horse power you get after sooooooooooo many modifications .. and you arent using double tip platinm plugs ???? your car is very preety , what top speed do u get ...
I think this is the photo you just mentioned.
That wasn't my car. That was my friend's car. An older version of Wira, running on Mitsubishi ECU. It recorded almost 98ps with just very little N2O purged from the filter housing. Just to show the potential of the engine in a very crude way.
This is the chart for my car. A healthy 84ps was recorded. So far the highest among the gang, with no modification done on the engine.
Judging that the factory figure for the engine output is rated at 90ps on-crank, getting 84ps on-wheel is already very healthy. Add 10 - 15% on the figure should give me about 92ps - 97ps on-crank.
Engine Modification List:
K&N panel filter
cold air intake (D.I.Y.)
oil catch tank (D.I.Y.)
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
customized ground cables (own product)
customized voltage stabilizer (own product)
Bosch Super 4 spark plugs
Wira SE factory exhaust system: 1.75" ID mandrel-bent 4-2-1 header, 1.75" ID mandrel-bent piping, straight-flow center- and end-muffler
Double-tip platinum spark plugs? Mine has 4 ground electrodes - The BOSCH Super 4.
Platinum plugs are just for the durability, not for any significant performance gain. Also please forget about using the so-called "Performance Plug Cables", stock cables are always the best in term of smooth delivery and reliability.
BTw, the car already has more than enough power than it can handle on the bends therefore I am more concern on the ride & handling.
Chassis and wheels modification list:
Wira 1.8 shock absorbers (gas-filled)
Wira SE coil springs
Coupe/Putra rear lower arm + anti-roll bar (15mm)
Original front antiroll bar (20mm)
SuperPro polyurethane tensioning bushes (front ARB link)
15" Titan Racing lightweight alloy
195/50R15 Falken Azenis ST115/Bridgestone MY01 (front/rear)
UTR 4-point front strut bar
UTR 3-point fender bar
From these lists you can see that most modification are done with parts from existing Proton/Mitsubishi models, instead of expensive aftermarket stuffs. Personally thinks that this is a more sensible way.
As for the vacuum gauge.. sadly, this happened:Just Because of A Vacuum Gauge
