ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Monday sought reply from the Petroleum Ministry, Managing Director Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines Limited by April 17, on a contempt plea seeking direction to implement the court orders with regard to the opening of CNG three days in a week.A single member bench of IHC comprising Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui resumed hearing of contempt plea filed by CNG stations owners seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against MD SNGPL for not implementing court orders and issuing new schedule of supply of gas to CNG stations.
He said that the new schedule announced by the Petroleum Ministry and SNGPL to supply gas six hours in a day is the violation of court orders.
Qamar Afzal further prayed that to direct SNGPL to implement the previous court orders of supply of gas in three days a week.
On February 6, the High Court had ordered the SNGPL to provide the gas to CNG stations of the twin-cities, Islamabad and Rawalpindi in three days a week.
The CNG station owners stated in their applications that the CNG stations had already been under severe financial crunch and the three months gas closure had worsen their problems. It was impossible for them to meet their expenses and pay salaries to the staff.

There would be some relief in time extension. Last day went to mehar g-11 and at 8am even cng filling doesnt started line was till soneri bank near the park and waited two hrs for early place at que.then at 10:20am(20 min for generating pressure) cng start filling and my turn came by 12 : 30 pm. A taxi owner discussing with me the schedules and he said its a paradise for transporters this schedule and wishes that continue . . . . He said his earning increases due to no petrol filling , he added cng is a issue in isb while we often get it through 26 num alot of pumps there

i keep hearing taxi guys talking about no26 to get cng from there
whats is it?
if u come at 5:30am line is pretty small at that time
even at 7:30 its till the khokha
i was noticing this yesterday when i was doing wash n wax session early morning

pumps at highway were open in the morning. I got late from office yet filled 8.6kgs in 45mins

I guess if i leave early for office, i can get cng in less time since queues started to get long after 9.15

Mine is having trouble of crazy RPM and consumption is 7~8 Km/L for last two months

Still sticking with petrol as leaving office to get in CNG line for hours isn't an option for me.

G-7/G-8 areas are particularly affected. My colleague having alto got it filled from zoom this sunday after standing in line for hours, and the pressure was 110 :o

Old schedule is back I think.....filled CNG this morning @ around 9 am from Kaleem CNG...person there said that they will now follow old schedule....any news regarding this ?

sir ji cylinder k baghair hi cng dalwaney k chakar mein hain

these days pumps are following both old n new schedule, it depends now on which one u go, its available whole week but u wont b able to get cng from those pumps unless its sunday

waise to kpk mein khuli cng hai, get from there, reach back n refill

10-4 wali shift is nor feasible at all..atleast for me..Main raat kay 2-3 bajay pump say gas bharwata tha,,line shine ka koi masla nai hota us waqt magar ab gas bharwana bhut mushkil hai..i cant stand in line..3 days shedule was great
