Guys I just needed some answers and thanks so much for the input. I had already made my decision when I booked the car. I have driven both Toyotas and Hondas and dont want a Toyota vs Honda war
I didn't want to get another 1.3L variant, since like flooring it from time to time that's why I chose 1.5 Aspire. My alternate choice would have been Altis 1.6 but that is now WAY out of my purchasing range given delivery time and huge black market premiums.
Bad news is the City Aspire I have booked on April 1st week with delivery date of July 31 may become expensive by another 2 lacs till its delivered thanks to Tabdeeli FED @ 5% and another rumored price hike in July. Various attempts and approaches to get it delivered before 30th June have failed.
I test drove a 2016 City 1.5 Aspire of a friend with Conti CC6 185/65 rubbers. I agree its not as comfortable as a Toyota, but is decent for most driving, probably shorter wheelbase is also the reason. Friend also told me that also front shocks of both City 1.3 and 1.5 variants are almost same, 1.5 variant has stronger engine mounts which give it a slighter edge.
To be honest body roll is much more stable in City compared to my 1.3 Rolla, but that was the notorious NZE 120 Pakistani variant which was famous for mushy suspension.
My main reason is getting a decent family sedan car in the ridiculous prices they have gone up to in the past 6 months and can not afford Corolla or Civic any more.
