nop dipped in oil for half hour
mechanic laughed at it saying its no need . on forums i heard it should be dipped more what you say
Why is dipping needed? I only got it changed twice in my two different bikes one was Pak hero 125 and another honda 125 83. Dont remember anyone dipping them in oil.Also i have a chonda united with 78 head. I am waiting till 10000 kms after that i plan on getting its head opened and get a bigger piston, valve etc. What do you suggest? Also do i need to change the carb as well to Honda 125?
yes - always install a wet clutch set in fully wet condition, I usually dip them one day prior.
automatic gearboxes of cars also have these clutch systems, if you dont dip them - you burn them out - customers get very angry then.

That i have no doubt about it. Mechanics in Pakistan are the hittora type. They do what they learned by watching ustaads and not actual knowledge. I got the engine build thrice of my old 125 but no one could get the job done properly. Finally sold it.
lol - a honda CG125E is so simple to redo that it can be done perfectly while half asleep.
I m using pridor piston in my 70 . Its engine was rebuilt completely and it rattled again in a month . Kharadya say its mechanic fault and vice versa. Biggest issue is that it heats up . As the oil pump is still of 70 it can't keep up with heat
