Actually my car is swapped from 2c to 5afe.The ac compressor has just one wire on it's grip.Rest r empty.Even If I connect the idle up to manifold and throttle body my rpm on ac still won't raise.Is there anyway of getting the rpm to increase without messing with the ecu as I don't know much about it.

It has nothing to do with the compressor grip. Plz get your wiring corrected. The electrician will connect the idle up solenoid with AC button.
I think you are based in Peshawar. Better to visit any good electrician. There are many in shoba, who know about the wiring of these old A series engines on finger tips.

Make sure the idle up solenoid in connected to manifold & TB and it should get 12v whenever you switch ON the AC. You issue will be resolved.
AC idle-up has nothing to do with the ECU.
ECU has a pin for AC signal, through which it gets to know whether AC is ON/OFF and adjusts the timing accordingly, nothing more than that.

How much should idle up cost?I messaged some pages.They r in shoba bazar.One of them told me it's for 3,500 rupees.Yes,I am in Peshawar.

Seems like Online page guys are in another world, it should be around 500 to 1k.
Better to visit the market & get it yourself. I can also refer you to an electrician, who wired up my car's engine, to get the idle up solenoid installed.

Even though I got the front left wheel bearing replaced back in September, it again started making noises. Previously I got BEARMAX bearing but seems like its quality was sub-standard or may be the installation guy messed up last time.

This time, got original (as per seller) NSK bearing, made sure to install it properly at press machine. Also inspected the bearing seals which were good.

Let's see how long this bearing will last!

Noticed a very minor coolant seepage around radiator cap. Decided to replace the radiator cap, though the rubber seal of old cap was also intact but seems like it had completed its like.

P.s. note that I got the previous cap back in june 2018, so it was exactly 3 years old.

I think I read some where about troubleshooting for culprit causing acc. Fuse blown up issue. Is that your post or thread in which user solved it via dmm.

If yes, kindly elaborate the process to find out the root cause

Yup ... this issue was in my vitz 01. The acc fuse was blowing again n again ...

so i removed its top dash cover, to have a look at wiring and everything came out to be stock & nicely packed. Then I checked the headunit wiring for any shorts,which was good.

Finally it came out to be wire going to retractable mirror of driver's door, whose insulation got removed because it was continuously getting scratched with door metal sheet near the rubber grommet, through which wiring passes into the door.
I then insulated the wire with heat shrink sleeve & tied with the rest of wiring, to prevent it from getting damaged again.

DMM helped in such a way that I was checking the continuity of wires behind the kick panel & were going inside the door. And this wire came up, which should have 12+ as per the diagram, but it was grounded as well i.e. showing continuity with the body ground.
This is how i got to know that something is definitely wrong here & I reached to the main culprit.

Dear, can you explain in some short video how you checked via DMM, mean where should i put the positive probe and where should i put the negative one?

The explanation you gave is theoretically very good but non-Electronics guy needs some practical video to understand the procedure. Kindly do it in your spare time.

So its been a long time since I last updated the thread. Corolla is going strong so far. No major work done just a regular maintenance & tiny updates.

I felt a minor decrease in fuel figures & back in my mind was the fuel pump strainer filter as I never checked it after the swap (almost 3.5 years back) & mileage around 60k kms.

So I decided to have a little DIY & take a look around the things inside the fuel.tank.

Remove top cover held with 4 screws

Undo fuel lines & electrical harness

Carefully pull.out the whole assembly, I already detached the fuel pump motor.

A quick look inside the tank & its clean.

Here is the fuel strainer filter. Its almost choked. Tried to clean it but it was a gunky mess.

Got a replacement strainer. It was locally made & quality not upto the mark, also the size was a bit smaller but i had no other options. So I went for it.

Installed

Fitment is the reverse procedure simply.

Its around 2 months now since i replaced the strainer filter, no issues so far, fuel figures improved & minor improvement in cold startup. Previously, it used to take a little bit longer.

P.s. I also got a clean oem strainer from scrapyard, for now, I am using the local one, will replace, if it causes issues.

I am really really disappointed with Kumho tyres. There is a plenty of meat left on them & they started to bubble. Mileage on these is around 26k kms.

Therefore, i got a new set of General BG Trako plus 185 60 15.

Steering column was bad as it used to make noises on bad, uneven road patches.
Got a complete assembly from kabli halfcut & replaced it. Issue resolved.

New on Left side & old on right.

Inspected the U-joint as well. It was fine.

Price of stainer filter if u don't mind.And how is performance of 5w30 compared to 10w40.Any difference in fuel economy?
