Panel
The lower border under door is called panel which is fron front wheel to the rear wheel.
This one is brand new panel welded coz previous one was badly rusted.
Compound
That black color coating was to make it rust and water proof, it will slow down the rusting process, initially it wont let rust to damage the floors of car but as time will pass it will lose its strenght and allow rust to hit, same compound job will be done under the floor too.
Its a coat of charcoal mixed in petrol to make car rust and water proof. it covers small holes, rusty places and hardens the weak places.
about deck and speaker, i dont have any experience about them, my friend has taste he will find good pair of speakers along with a player, did u see a speaker lying with CNG cylinder in some pic i posted earlier 
yes car will go to poshish wala and he will foam the seats and then we will get some cool covers for it to give it max good looks. after all its mehru
