Well if you ask me, honestly it's more of an illusion, the ride height difference is there but it's VERY minimal, the 8th Gen Civic LOOKS lower than it actually is, it's the design.
I'm not exactly saying it's not low, it is but it's not low enough that the tires grind with the fenders, that won't happen.
The 7th gen Civic will be a better option but if I were you, I'd just buy the 8th gen and be a bit more careful on the roads, I've been to chakwal road in my 88 Accord (which is lower than 8th gen civic) and I hardly faced any problems, put the steering to good use
