-Disconecting the battery wont help, as you said the light vanishes after you drive a bit.
-The thing is that your cars throttle body needs cleaning, infact the IAVC valve the sensor init, it needs to be serviced. Your car isnt ideling properly due to carbon deposits in the throttle body, hence increasing the REVs (Rpms) so that the car doesnt turns off.
-Check light is coming on, so that you get it checked and serviced. And that theres a malfunctioning i.e (high revs on ideling)
-Its goes off as you drive because its troubling in the initials revs only, and functions normaly as you drive, so as you accelerate the acceleration is just as much as it should be so it goes off.
