My first question would be how old is your kid ? If he is 8year old and above then a petrol version is recommended with parental speed control. these petrol powered vehicle are usually in ATV (all terrain vehicle) 4 wheeled bike format with 35cc to 110cc range. Yes, very small atvs also available in 110cc. These type of vehicles are usually tougher than electric ones...especially if you pick a good quality one. Stay away from cheaply built ATV. At Al Fateh they had a really nice mini ATV with disc brakes, full suspension and most importantly a parental speed control. It was powered by a 70cc petrol engine and auto gears. It was of decent quality and on sale for about Rs. 50,000. My son was only 3years old last year so I get him the electric jeep instead.
I would recommend that you go to Al Fateh and see if any are available. Sometimes they get a good stock of electric and gasoline powered vehicles. Beware of low quality and /or 6volt versions. they will be nothing but a waste of money. cheap 10,000 rupee electric vehicles dont perform or last.
My kids jeep was approximatley Rs.24,000 with 4x4 12volt 24 amp batteries and of normal quality. However it also requires routine maintenance from Rasheed & Naveed Electronics (03004516396) to keep it running. I have now upgraded it to 18volts.
