[QUOTE=saidhi;2030256]Indeed I will try to teach Ahmad the basics, but, my opinion about the kids of 21st century is that they, on account of the TV/media exposure, are really very smart. ffice:office" /> Agreed
I tried the 18 volt setup on Shehreyar's jeep for a week and decided to take a jump to 24 volts with variable speed control. For this I had to upgrade the motors as electric vehicles in pakistan (6 volt or 12 volt) actualy only run 6 volt motors. I have upgraded to 4 heavy duty 24 volt motors with steel body and bearings. will post pics soon with son (4 year old) offroad.
MashAllah, Cute kid with cute rid
MASHALLAH...this is really cool..i hope your son join Pakwheels Soon..
thanks
Nice Truck Kids! and Baba yours too
Kids go off roading too, cuz this lil truck is a real 4x4 and I have hopped up its power and speed by upgrading it from 12 volts to 24 volts....plus it now has variable speed controller from an electric scooty. the hand twist throttle of a scooty is modified so that it works like a foot pedal instead of a twist throttle.
currently the power has been increased..which the kids..especially my daughter finds a bit scary... I am coaching her to use the new variable speed foot throttle so that she can keep the mini-jeeps speed slow. at full speed the jeep will jump a sharp angled /high speed breaker. son did test the top speed but then crashed the jeep into a tree luckly he had seat belt on and did not get hurt. with time kids will learn to handle the upgraded power.
