Hey guys.. I m very confuse I created this thread to clear my confusion. Please just suggest me
Whole scene is like this
I live in Allama iqbal town all road are in understruction. My dad got gli and I got alto which i m going to sale out. I face lot of problem in alto due to its suspension. I want a car which does not create a problem for me atleast 4 to 5 years.my avg driving is 10k in a year.
I m prefering GLi due to it good suspension. i think i wont face any problem on the other hand I like honda city exterior look but i hear lots of problem in honda city.
like its engine do not perfrom very well only on Hi-octne it perform well, Poor build quality, Knocking problem,Poor Suspension..
So I m totally confuse
Sir that is all non sense and rumors about Hi octane, engine and suspensions.
Both Honda and Toyota have same issues of quality control, so if you get a faulty car, the chance are equal that it can be either Corolla or City.
City has a much better suspension optimized for road grip and handling that gives it a confident handling character, on broken roads Corolla will perform better.
Corolla has a touch better interior fit/finish while the interior room (front/rear leg and head) is considerably more, you will not notice it in front but in rear its noticeable.
On the positive side boot space of City is even more then new and old Civic and new Corolla. (no light in trunk though).
I do not recommend you to buy Corolla just for the sake of broken roads specially if you will drive only 10K in a year.
City is a better buy if you will not sell your car after 1-2 years and you will not try to mod it (Corolla after market mods are available readily).
If you can change your City tires from Eurostar to premium Michelins one with imported alloys instead of these average tires with a silly aspect ratio, you can make a day night difference in ride quality and handling, the estimated cost will be around 40-50K Rs.
Buying a City A/T is a much sensible choice in Pakistan, then a Gli or even a base Civic.
