yeah.. that is expensive.. but still depends on your future plans.. if you plan on going very big.. then get it.. it works just as well as a stand alone fuel management system.. its just a lot easier to tweak.. and still cheaper than a stand alone fuel management system..
usman the plans are big for the car but it might take time to bring it on a serious level,at the moment finding the original m18a ecu is our main concern
^^^for us aswell
so what great plans do you have for this swift??? that above statement seems quite alot promising lol bol!and doesn't that m18a motor pulls around 120 horses bonestock, did you check how many is your current setup pullin?
stock is 123horses,with the intake, headers, piping n exaust,i guess 130-132hpdont have a proper figure as we didnt dyno it as yet
bro nice project, i see you have and are doing many neat stuff to make the car go fast but brotherly advice is to spend to make the car stop safely too, brakes etc
Thank u for the appreciation, for stopping the car,it has been lowered, the stock brakes are so dam good the only thing that need to be done is vent them which we might be doing soonill try to post a video of 100-0 sometime soon
Took a ride in this swift and i was like ............... wtf seriously fast car. thumbs up to the guy who swaped this engine in no time,
@jz: Yo the Go baby Go button
hahaha thankz bro ,wait till the ride is on full potential
its all part of learning,, whats the problem, his money, his car, yr lucky you got free ride:)
its not about being lucky,he's a good friend,y wdnt we give him a ride
pak suzuki cant import a ecu? if you put a order or at least tell who to contact in suzuki jpn?
have you checjed ebay?
contact uk/dubai members, maybe ecu is avaliable there?. why suzuki ecu is a issue?
There is no problem levin, i meant that the car was really fast and i was not expecting it, trully we can call her a sleeper :).
^ its a experiment, midway not completed as yet. its not as fast as it should be with 1.8l under hood
i wouldn't call it a sleeper with HIDs and alloy rims....A sleeper looks stock from the outside....but impressive acceleration nonetheless....You should launch the car at 3000-3500 rpm to minmize wheelspin and opitmize 2nd gear shift.....I guess it will do a good 0-62 mph time....
we got the ecu,now need some one who can rewire it,dont have the ecu harness with it
desi sleepers usually have alloys and HID's.
my starlet is a true sleeper, no one knows it has r1 engine under hood
Post ur ride details, wud love to see your starlet, is it galanza ?
@levin : r1 motorcycle engine ?
For wiring and ECU setup you can get the guidelines from below mentioned swift workshop manual. It is for RS415, 1.5L VVT with DOHC but can be very helpful since the electricals and other specs are similar to this one. Here is the link:
