UPDATE: Had the issues sorted out and everything's working perfectly, except the horn which needs a relay now. The lighting is obviously improved over standard incandescent bulb. Today i drove for 45 minutes straight without any issues. Will update the maximum use time on one drive when i get the chance..
Important: It seems to a general consensus around here that HID kits will require you to fit a metal reflector and glass lens otherwise the plastic headlight assy will melt. Well that's simply not true, atleast for my bike's stock headlight. I felt it after the 45 minute drive and it was hot but i could touch it comfortably. So no, your headlight won't melt.
I've tried glass lens + metal reflector (using stock bulb) but my stock headlight had a much better focus and throw.
