Suggestions for speakers for room/PC

Hey guys

so finally I got a room of my own in the house (thanks to my brother who shifted to isb. :P). I'm slowly setting up the room. now coming up to the point...

I need speakers for my computer. i'm stuck up in altec lansing and Edifier (specifically x600 as i heard them and loved them). so i need suggestions for a system under 5k (lesser the better).. I need sound quality (more acoustics) not bass.. so make sure you suggest quality system that you've used or heard personally.

P.S do not suggest those filthy audionics speakers

Hoping to get advice by some experienced fellow PW'ers. Please let me know if somebody's is selling it as well

Brother i think altec lansing's good system is above 10k, but edifier or audionic you can get in 5k.

nah no specific model but as far as my experience , edifier has gud bass n creative better sound quality

i've heard edifier .. they have great highs and loud bass.. but i need quality sound instead of bass.. altec lansing is no match for edifier in the reviews on net... so i'll visit there official outlet tomorrow in gul haji listen and choose what my ears like

Well jokes apart, m a user of Edifier X600 2.1 Channel sound system for the past 6 years!! And honestly m completely satisfied with it!! Great bass!! Movie, Music (Hip Hop and Trance, also some Indian music on 2 or 3 dholki functions) Gaming (First Person Shooters), played almost everything on it and never let me down!! I havent used Altec Lansing yet, so cant compare though!!

they edifier and a.l speakers are having a sub of max 14 watt..while the sony d5 sub is 20 watt with 2 x 10 watt rms speakers..go to some sony center and give it a try

wish i had some zardari ka paisa to buy that .. anyway i have heard x600 but honestly i found it more boomy then normal which i don't want it sure is loud enough to shake the ground and durable too

I really wish i could but the budget doesn't allow me to.. BOSE is BOSS in quality

I'll if i see a sony center but i don't think there is any in Peshawar. whereas a.l has an official outlet here (which makes me tend more towards a.l). i can buy it online but haven't heard it so makes me wonder how will it sound.. have you heard it? hows the quality and all (P.S i don't need bass here uske liye gaari kaafi hY :P)

Get this if you can find it:

Creative T6060 with bass control & Aux in the remote...fit bass hai
I have been using it on my desktop but since I have bought a laptop now, I can't give it 3x3.5mm inputs

try something new
buy one deck cd changer wala from karakhno and 2 speakers those bad *** bass producing monsters
and connect them to pc using aux
best sound ever
i done it
and works prefect
