It is turning out to be one of the more difficult decisions in my life. I own a honda civic VTI 1996. Smooth drive and a very strong car. The draw backs include high maintenance cost, high fuel cost, low clearance and obviously ageing parts of the body. CNG queues is another issue.
I kept hovering over multiple options including but not limited to, Suzuki Mehran, Suzuki Alto Pakistani, EK Wagon, Suzuki Cultus etc. But, finally, I think I am settling for Suzuki Alto Japanese. It is a small car highly fuel efficient and easy to handle considering its size.
If anyone has ever moved from a bigger car to a small one, he can understand my anguish, but sometimes reality bites hard. The fuel cost is too high to maintain a high power old car.
Now my question is.
How good a Suzuki Alto 660 CC is to drive on steep heights? I mean would it go up to Peer Suhawa with 4 persons in it or would it get stuck? Can it go with 4 persons up to Murree? I am not asking for more than that because it would then be a bit too much to ask from a 660 CC engine.
Moreover, are the parts easily available?
