i remember my uncle bought a brand new and he was like i am loving its A/C and petrol to shungti hai yeh machis ki dabbi
he sold his mehran 95 model and got alto at that time it was one of the first to hit roads in kp at that time

oye kaka Fuel efficency
and iridums cost given above wires will cost u 800rs
and 140/liter hi octance
so do the math around 5k total cost
also change carb jet from stock to mehran one will improve Fuel efficency
alto comes with 110 no jet and repalce it with mehran 92.5 jet cost 500 with labor

brother I have checked and the 92.5 jet thing is not good for the engine. I have replaced mine with 100 and its better now, also I tried 92.5 but the car starts giving jerks when you push the pedal and this is not good for the 4 cylinder engine

that model was good my friend had one
it had some similar goodies to jdm one
and it had cheapest parts body parts
frame was better then new ones and to my surprise petrol consumption was less then new one
ac pannel,speedo are different then new model ones
plus shoba market is full of parts of this model even i like rear lights of this model and availbale for cheap 2k jodi

also this model has better frame so it can handle mods like engine swap to G15a

i still haven't changed jet to 92.5 its on stock
but in my recent trip to isb and back my alto covered 172kms of m1 in around 8.5 liters so its around 19kml
but it was on full ac
and my speed was constant 100kph whole way
and considering mods iridiums wires intake btw i was using both air filters
so F10A carb and this Fuel avg then its not bad but in local a different story

better go for 6x9 on back phatta
no matter what u fit in the dash sound will always suck

a good HU and rear speakers good ones then its best choice
i first changed dash speakers to pioneer ones which have tweeter installed in them
but maza nahi aya
then HU got issues changed that to JVC 416 series not sure but USB etc included
and got 2 kenwood speakers on back phatta i had amp installed but got rid of amp
sq is alot better

pioneer 6975 at rear shelf
And kenwood sub at rear seat

I liked the rear lights of this model, much better than the current ones. It had no center console plus the AC/Heater controls were just like in Khyber/Cultus. Later on with the face lifted version they changed them to circular knobs along with the introduction of center console which IMO was a nice addition.

even mine has crystal lights but these jdm ones look sleek
2 face lifts came after this model
1 2003 model crystal lights console and circular ac knob with ac button integrated in blower white speedo meter
2 in 2008 thai shape lights and bumpers
ac button separated from knob JVC CD in 2010
i saw a 2012 with jdm rear lights and man look was good also dirt cheap kabuli parts for alto makes it in that jdm scene
