Has anyone tried upgrade the in car rear view mirror. I dont feel comfortable using it. It makes cars closer then they are. And the glare is so irritating.
I second that. Rear view mirror is PITA without the push-to-dim (manual) switch found in PKDM Swift etc. Dont know how much PS saved by giving this Mehran style rear view mirror.Anyone know the solutions to this? Night-time driving would be unbearable without it.

Even the Japanese alto doesnt had the dimming option. But maybe it is anti glare.
Yes. It supports that and has reverse signal wire as well. After installation of camera, it'll switch to camera virw when reverse gear is engaged and music will pause, when reverse gear disengaged it'll resume the music or radio

Oh I am getting Alto and this is not a good news haha. I use the dimming option a lot.
You would either have to tint the back glass (which will ruin the defroster) else use a after market one, Even the japanese alto doesnt has the dimming option.

Simply use/install that rear black shades.....no need to tint it...the shade works/dims the lights behind pretty well...i m living in peace with it in my old cultus
media unit often reset on starting of alto. any solution?

same problem i face to so i did desi way i just tint my rear glass so now its fine to see rear.
Tinting ruins the defroster.
Secondly I'm against blocking of rear windscreen. I just hate it. It's a safety hazard for the car following you.
