I suspect that mistakenly I had saturated my Cultus 2012 model EVAP/Charcoal Canister by over filling the fuel tank twice, which made my EVAP canister saturated and less effective(not completely failed) as there is no fault code displayers over the scanner. Infact the issue is that the Car starts fine and after 7-10 minutes of running it starts getting heavier and throttle response getting sluggish, consumes more fuel (Giving me around 9/km in city with AC).. and rough idling....Upon opening fuel tank cap there always a sounds like....Fusssnhhhhh..... It shows that the fuel fumes and vapors are building pressure inside the fuel tank which is causing fuel pump function difficult, I went to the mechanic with same complain and shared the above diagnostic point EVAP canister saturation or partial failure... After listening me, he pulled the fuel return pipe out and showed me that see the fuel is flowing fine from return Chanel it means there's no blockage or saturation in your EVAP system... But the issue of poor fuel economy, loss of power After few minutes of drive and rough idling is there... Pls guide me what to do. If replacement of EVAP canister is a solution, it can done but mechanic told me that its no more available in market.... You have to source it from junk yards... Experts pls extend your support.
