Suzuki Mehran 2010 Extremely Low Fuel Average – Need Tuning Expert in Karachi

I have a Suzuki Mehran 2010, and it is consuming a lot of petrol. The fuel average is extremely low, less than 3 km per liter. The engine feels fine, but the fuel consumption is very bad. I usually drive in 1st or 2nd gear due to broken and pothole roads.

I want proper tuning and inspection to fix the fuel consumption issue. Please guide me to a reliable and experienced mechanic or workshop in Karachi who can diagnose and tune Mehran properly. I am looking for genuine advice and shop recommendations only.

What engine oil grade is being used? You may take car to Irshad at Jameel Autos. Get your carburetor, engine, distributor and other things checked out.

With that average, check the fuel pipes first. Get original pipes from Suzuki if they are leaking. Also, did this car have a timing belt changed recently?

Get compression test done. If values are decent, switch to 10w40.

I don't think you need a tuning done on your car. Smell the exhaust. At 3 km/l you should smell raw fuel out the tail pipe, My hunch is that you have a fuel leak. Hole in the tank, corroded line. I will chime in with what @ZainMahdi is saying.

Thanks for the reply but I don't know these. I am new to cars so I was thinking bringing the car to a person who does the tuning
