One cylinder not firing could be due to few issues like bad plug which is not playing its spark role, bad emulator itself, bad emulator wiring, bad coil tower. This is just a very simple solution and mechanics try to make stupid by saying head khulay ga, cylinder weak hai, engine farigh hai etc etc etx.

For the 1000km inspection on swift automatic I decided to get the oil and oil filter changed.
Went to suzuki dealership and inquired about SAE 5w30 API SN oil being used in pkdm swift.
They said that they have had no issues with it at all and it is being used.
So switched over to 5w30
I have noticed an increase in the responsiveness of my car while accelerating
The car is being driven on 50-50 mixture of Total HOBC and Total normal fuel

5w30 is good synthetic oil specially for winter but for summer i would recommend 5w40...........

Yes I too think the same.
However after driving suzuki wagon R for 3 years in the summers of lahore I didnt feel any wearing off of the protective effect of oil

i experienced 5w40 and fully satisfied but never used 5w30 so don't say much about the performance of 5w30 in summer.

go to Carrefour (Luckyone) or Metro (Safari park) and buy geniue ZIC from there. Metro have best variety of Havoline/ZIC/Total/Guard

Recently i have installed LPG TELSA kit in my Liana
Yes, its giving 7 ~ 8 km per litre just like in petrol but main difference is LPG & PETROL price.

around 2 month back , price of LPG was 48 per litre where as PETROL was above 100. Today also price of LPG is 72 per litre whereas PETROL is 114 plus

And i never experience this ice thing. I have installed DONUT type tank which can be placed inside spare wheel space in a car.

its start on petrol so that engine remain safe.

Hello Every ONe..do you know any authentic dealer for swift suspension parts like original 555 or RBI in lahore. I want to change my tie rod ends and sway bar. I have did this one time in past but those worked for about less than a year only and again making clunking noise.

I have a suzuki Swift DLX manual 2013 80k km on the odo.M13a engine
When accelerating in second gear in slow speed.
Initially i feel no power.
But suddenly car picks up at once.
Mostly after 1500rpm.
Tuning done,throttle body service done,air filter,engine oil air filter done.No check engine light.
Condition improves with mixing high Octane.
And during tuning Plug gap was reduced to 0.80mm which improved the situation too.Normal NGK plugs recomended in manual recently replaced.
Sometimes from stop when the clutch is released car knocks a little bit.
Even when accelerator is pushed quickly from idle car hesitates a bit and than RPM goes up quickly after 1500 rpm.
I have to push the accelerator a bit.
Rest no clutch slipping or any thing obvious related to transmission

Suzuki recommends getting the clutch, pressure plate and bearing replaced every 80k kms. The lag you are facing is because of this. In a swift you won't feel the clutch slipping or anything, but the master cylinder might burst at any time if there is not much pressure being produced. Happened with my car in August, had to get the cylinder replaced along with the clutch set.

Guyz,I filled my Swift fuel to the top.
When the fuel Was exactly half,It was showing aroun 160KM.

I used FCC clutch and pressure plates, and NTN clutch bearing. The total cost including labor and transmission oil was 18,000. The clutch, pressure plates and NTN bearing cost around 9,000, labor was 4,000 and the transmission fluid was for 5,000. The master cylinder I got from Bilal Gunj for 3,500. You won't need to replace your master cylinder if you get the clutch system changed. My car's cylinder burst and leaked fluid because I didn't get my clutch/pressure plate replaced in time. Do not install used clutch/pressure plates in your car. FCC manufactures OEM for Suzuki as well. The mechanic might tell you there is no need to replace the clutch bearing, but insist on changing it since the transmission will be open and you might need to get it replaced after 20-30k kms.

My swift goes between 250-280 kms in Lahore city driving in half a tank. Get the following checked:

1. Spark plugs
2. Throttle body, might need cleaning as carbon deposits build up
3. Tappets
4. Engine oil, oil filter, and air filter. If you're using guard filters I would recommend that you replace it with either Suzuki genuine filters or Leppon. Guard has the worst filters in Pakistan
