ell Ultra was the most expensive oil where I used to live in Middle Ea

having same problem and replaced the ABS unit from magzine line khi in 5000, Also got quotation from Rawalpindi and that was 5500/-. So don't pay more than that.

Ive got a 3 year old swift ( bought it when it was first interdouced by pak suzuki for 11 lak )
its a DX manual 1.3

after the warrenty period expired ive been using attock 20w-50 oil in it, the one in the red bottle; but is there any better alternative in the same price ( would not like to pay more then 1.8-2k for oil )

Also uptil now ive been using water as coolant, should i change over to manufactured coolant (and if so which one ) or more water?

and oil and air filters need a change, should i go for suzuki OEM or can i find something else thats better in the same price range.

finally, the window washer system seems to be jammed. when i pull the lever from inside i hear the motor pump wizzing, but no water comes out; even with a full tank ( and it seems that the window washer tank fills up too quickly )

Bro 20w50 is veryyyy thick for ur ride. it might be even resulting in bad fuel consumption and low performance. 10w40 will be ideal for ur ride. But the bad news is that all the reputable 10w40 oils are above rs. 2000. The options are:

Total quartz 5000 10w40 api sn
Pso carient ultra 10w40 api sm
ZIC A 10w40 api sn
shell helix hx5 10w40 api sn
Suzuki genuine oil sgo ultimate 10w40 api sm (GOLDEN CAN)

u will have to purchase a 4 litre can. I think swift uses upto 3.5 litres. But all the 4 litre cans would be above rs 2000.

U should always use a coolant. Just pour in zic super A coolant. It is pre mixed and u dont need to mix water. Just pour in directly. A 4 litres can will cost you around rs. 1400.

Suzuki oem filters are basically guard filters. It would be wise to purchase guard filters directly. Suzuki is going to charge extra amount by pasting their name on the filters. The money you will save here could be used to purchase a better oil. U can alto opt for leppon filters.

since im changing oils, do i need to also do one of those enigne flush things?
(where you empty oil, close it up, put some other cleaning thing in and then wait 10-20min and then let out and change oil?)
and how much would this guard air and oil filter be for?
im looking to have all this maintenance done for under 5k

( oh and small addundum, the swift is just creeping on about 49k Km on the odometer , and in terms of oil changes at first i dident pay attention and only did it when the suzuki service center texted me, after that there was a while when i dident change the oil at all for 10k, when i did get it changed it was pitch black and had a few small globs of gunk in there too; after that i decided to tend to it more carefully and started using the attock 20w-50 oil for 4 stroke gasoline engines...as i did not know any better)

No need to flush. Just have ur mechanic open the drain bolt and remove the filter. Then just let each and every drop of the oil to drain out. both filters might cost you 600 in total. 2300-2500 for oil.

1257 pages of hell- no kidding

it says engine coolant needs to be replaced, ill be doing that
engine oil...will do that

spark plugs. it says to replace every 15k km if car is without h2os and using nickel plugs, every 60k if without h2os and using iridium;
otherwise (with h2os) every 45k for nickel and 105k for iridium.
How do i know if my car has one ( as i said i bought it from the dealership ) and which plugs are preferred at which timing interval ( the thing you set on the plugs before you plug em in)

air cleaner filter is also to be replaced, where on earth to get one, what is cost...

and the manual transaxle fluid is due to be changed. which one and how much?

same with the brake pads-are to be inspected and changed if needed ( which is available cheaply?)

lastly the air conditioning filter is to be changed ( i drive i dusty areas a LOT so this seems to be important;especially during the summer)

and sorry to be pushy but you dident reply about teh window washer issue.

Bro just spend some money and go for good oils and not like Attock 20W50. Firstly how much is your car driven? in any case assuming 3yrs old car should be around 50-60K max., go for 5W30 or at most 10W40. and go for some reputable brand like Zic, LM or shell, Havoline etc...
For Air filter Guard would be best in terms cost-benefit analysis.
For Cololant, for for Zic or Caltex. If you don't want to spend alot Guard would be just fine but avoid fancy coolants(or rather coloured water) which shopkeeprs try to sell you.

Attock 20W50 which is SF or SG. Not recommended suzuki's run best with 10W40 API SL or higher would be better.

to be clear, the car in question is at 49.2k km on the odometer

so ill be going for any internatinoal brand in 10w40 for the oil
air filter and oil filter and coolant will be from guard

just need info about teh sparkie plugs, gearbox fluid ( its a manual ) brake pads and AC filter
just tell me which company is best for value and what the price is for these four things and ill be good to go. hopefully ill be done all this maintainace work by the end of this month.

5w30 and 10w30 are only good for a swift if the ambient temperature is max 30 degrees
