And i dont know in ur city but one available at carachi motors in Karachi is not the guard one

A.O.A guys.
I've 3 questions so please kindly give some expert advice.
My swift 2013 with 20k on odo

1. Which engine oil is better? Last time i used zic x9 5w40
2. What shoul ideal amperes ob battery? Last time i used hankook 65 A dry battery
3. Should i change engine coolant? (Its still the same as came with 0km odo)
4. Anyother thing that should i change!

1. I think you should keep on using Zic X9 5w40. I have been using Zic X7 10w40 since I purchased my swift in June 2018.
2. I had 60AH Daewoo dry battery installed in my car in August 2019. The car started with just two turns of the crank, and without any problem even when I started it after a week in the last week of December. If you have a custom sound system installed in your car, you might want to opt for a 65AH battery.
3. Engine coolant needs to be changed after every 3 years or 50,000km which every is earlier. The longest life coolants available in the market are upto 150,000km or 7 years and I highly doubt that they are available here. You should get your cooling system flushed and fill up new coolant asap. Check all the hose pipes coming in and out of the engine/radiator.
4. Check the transmission fluid (gear oil) as well, it has been 7 years since you purchased your car, although your car has very low mileage but the gear oil might need replacement as replacement is required every 40,000 km or 2 years. Get the suspension checked as well, tie rods, ball joints, bushes, inner/outer CV joint seals, axle boots, shock bushes, etc. Change AC filter, and get the AC gas checked, recharge if required.

I always used zic x9 5w40 but since its too much expensive now
Just a week back i have bought both Shell Ultra 5w40 and Caltex ProDs 5w40 but uet not used any of them

I'm using Caltex Havoline 5w-40 Gold Pack in my Swift.
It run smooth and change interval 5,000km.

Aoa. I recently bought a swift 2011 with 75,000 km on the odometer. The car’s drive and performance is perfect except that I get an annoying whining noise in the first gear. It increases as the rpm goes up. Once I change to 2nd gear it is reduced to minimum and after that there’s no noise.
I showed it to the mechanic and also gave him a test drive. He said there’s no issue in this noise it’s completely normal. But it’s so annoying, does anyone has the same problem?
The gear oil got changed at 75k

Gear oil was supposed to be changed at 10,000 KMS first..
Then after each 40,000 KMS.

Ask from previous owner whether he changed gear oil at 10k and 40k odo or not ?

Btw that sound is normal in swift.

Oh thank you. Yes previous oil changes were made on time but i changed all the fluids after buying just to be sure.
Well then turns out this noise is an annoying gift from pak suzuki

I used Kixx GL4 i guess 5w45 if I’m not forgetting

That's wrong lol.
You must've used either 75W-90 or 90W-140

I actually don’t remember the figures after GL 4. I just checked kixx gl 4 doesn’t even have 5w-45 i think it was 75w-85 i just checked the bottle on their website

5W-45 is actually very thin to be used as gear oil. It's only good to be used as an engine oil.
