And if ur dealership allows take ur own oil(some good one like zic 5w-40 or shell ultra 5w-40 instead of overpriced Suzuki Genuine Oil) and genuine air and oil filters from market. They will save u atleast 1000 rs.

To keep car under warranty you must have to follow what dealership says like their oil. If you don't want to keep warranty then get genuine oil and air filter from Suzuki and get good quality 5w40 engine oil from open market.

Even genuine Suzuki oil and air filter are available in market and no 3s can challenge it. Once they see it they accept it and install it and u save around more than 1000 rs on only these 2 items. My 3s doesn't even object on bringing my own oil

well luckily my mechanic fixed the existing coils, the issue was due to washing the engine. although i washed it with least water and no pressure, still some water managed to get into 2nd sparkplug well. he cleaned the plugs and coils and asked for jitny marzi de dein.

Is the coil cover supposed to have any seal? I think there is place for seal but seal is missing.

Are you talking about black cover on which DOHC is written? If yes, it has the seal like rubber lining.

I doubt that it will be available. Just put a long piece of rubber in the groove and paste it with common rubber sealant.

149k driven ,car doesnt burn oil,have used 10w40 for last year and now want to go for a better average and shelf life ,
kindly suggest me any good 5w30 thats not too expensive.

Well its advised to not change grade of oil at high mileage

generally its not advisable but the engine doesnt use any oil
on my car even after 5k kilometres on mineral oil there is no
usage of oil or any signs
under such circumstances shouldnt it be ok
also i feel like engine runs heavier on 10w40 than 5w30
evident from my experience with fut hybrid

bhai koi fikar ki baat nahi aram se change kar lain.
just keep an eye after changing agar car oil reduce kar rahi ho to wapas 10/40 per a jana,

5/30 is fully synthetic i think, not semi.
you can go for any brand like Zic, Shell, Caltex etc. no problem, just keep changing the oil regularly.

I think Total Quartz Energy 9000 Energy 5W30 API SN fully synthetic is a good economical option. Else any oil brand will do
