Go for Caltex ProDS 5W-40. I have been using it for about 2 months (7000 km) and have not had any problems with the engine. My car has done 140k, 2011 local swift. In fact my fuel economy has improved by 0.8 km over the past two months. It cost me 3600 from Caltex service center in Johar Town, Lahore. They had a ramzan promotion going for 15% off list price. I would recommend it.

No, switched from zic x7 10w-30 to Caltex ProDS 5w-40, Zic was getting overpriced in my opinion for engine oil that needs changing every 4000 km.

It cost me 3600 for the oil, plus 1100 for the Suzuki Genuine Filter. I usually purchase 3-4 filters together as my oil changes are every 45-60 days, and it saves me the hassle of visiting suzuki showrooms every couple of months.

Salam
so got the oil changed finally
couldnt find caltex so went for total 5w30
Not big change in average but engine is silent now ,real quiet,drive is good too ,car reaches upto 60kph under 2k rpm
however faced one issue
after driving the engine bay gets hot,like extremely hot
what could it be ?any ideas?

May be because of hot weather. Get the engine coolant temperature checked with an obd scanner for your peace of mind. It should remain under 98°

Hello all. We are thinking of replacing our passo 2006 with swift auto. Range is 12-14 lac max. Which model of swift can be purchased in that range? Neat and clean and color requirement is silver. I understand the resale is slow for swift but will keep it for some time

Anyone here who has paid token tax for their car(s) in Lahore for 2020-2021? I want to know the procedure. Is it the same as last year, or has there been any changes? I went to Z-Block DHA excise office today and they said they are not accepting token taxes for cars or other vehicles.

So,I was just about to sell my car after spending alot of money on Small things and denting/Painting and now My car has gifted me ECL on Oxygen Sensor
I thought a change of sensor would solve the problem but guess what my mechanic said it is going to be pain in the A** if it doesnt get better with new sensor and 90% it doesnt!
It can even be the problem of ECU that can cost 18k.
Read alot of Threads on Oxygen sensor of Swift and one brother was not able to solve for 2 years.
Help me out from where should i start?
Car RPM is not stable when IDLE.
first time it got 6 months back later got okay now here since a week.
