Hello, I recently bought a car Suzuki Swift RS 1.0. it was imported from Japan a few months back. Unfortunately, the infotainment system installed in this car is locked. Following is the model type and information.
Customer P/N: 39920-80P04-0CE
Type: 80P0
System: SLDA

Only power off button and Camera button on the LCD is working, someone already tried 3 to 5 times the code on this LCD and it in lock mode. Moreover, the keypad panel to enter the code is also locked. I have tried all wonders here in my country and they are unaware of this issue. Please let me know what I can do to solve this problem.

Today i removed the front left tyre and inspected the suspension parts.
Z link Ruber covering was damaged on one side.
But it was not lose or dirty.
And one Lower control arm busing looked like its damaged.
Can anyone confirm.

These units in JDM cars usually need a SD card with appropriate data on it to work. You'll have to visit the Japanese used car parts market of your city and find that card.

Best option is to get a chinese LCD.
They will ask you minimum 700-800 for one time activation and 3k for permanent card

Even after that it will be a non android, language japanese, less features
So either get a non android chinese LCD for 6-8k or Android one for 10-12k

AOA , is anyone using total 5w30 in their pkdm swift , i need suggestions for a friend i’ve advised 5w30 as i myself am using it but he also has shell 5w40 in mind , which in the best for karachi temps and good performance .

I am currently enjoying Shell Ultra 5w40. It seems excellent to me previously used Zic X9 5w40 for around 6.5yrs
And my next oil is Caltex Pro DS 5w40 which i had already bought with Shell Ultra as shifted from zic so wanted to test both of them. Uptil now shell has performed excellently and it appears to be it had been better then Zic 5w40. I think many people specially retailers of zic will be hurt from this comment but after using zic for continuos 6.5 yrs i now think zic is over exaggerated

thanks for letting us know ur experience , i’ll forward this message to him, he basically wants to get the best performance out of his swift , for the oil bit he is confused between 5w30 and 5w40 , i’ve been in a similar situation and told him to use 5w30 but he’s saying that the manual clearly states that the best working temp for 5w30 is till 30 35 degrees

secondly they pour 4 liter engine oil as filter was replaced, they said if filter replace na ho tau 3.7 liters else 4 liter is that so?

Which gear oil they used ? Is it black color box with SAE90 ?

Make sure to fill 2.2 exactly. Otherwise gear will make noise in long run.

we have had the same issue ever since we bought the car 1 year used back in 2014.
showed many mechanics and 3s ... no solution except to increase music volume .. no issue with handling etc just this random noise at low speed on some bumps from the left side ...
