New swift came in 2022. Paksuzuki started pouring in 0w20 from 2018-19 in M13A Swift. He can shift to 5w30 and he'll be fine, after that it's his choice to keep using that grade for life or go to 0w30.

To clarify I've old model 2014 Swift. Total Milage on ODO is around 24k. Today I came to suzuki they said if u r using 10w40 then continue with same grade. I dnt knw why, but they dont recommend 5w30 for this model, but it can be used.
As I was using 10w40 since I bought the car in 2014 so I decided to continue with 10w40.
I was using Zic X7 10w40. Suzuki has Ecstar F7000 SN 10w40. Is this brand is good or Zic X7 is better.

Your car is hardly driven much. You can shift to 5w30 without any loss in performance.

In my opinion zic is best but now its getting most expensive. I bought swift in 2013 and kept using zic 5w40 for around 7.5yrs but after that zic got too much expensive so then tried both shell and havoline 5w40 and found Shell 5w40 to be marginally better so kept using it for some years then Shifted to Havoline 5w30 and found slight improvement in mileage per litre and now I am using Kixx PAO 5w40 and its also performing like all other oils. So in my opinion almost all oils performance is similar.

I've swift 2014 and One of my tail light is cracked and damaged. Dealership is asking 46k for a single light.
Can u guys guide me should I buy from dealership or can I get same genuine light in some cheaper price from anywhere else in karachi.
Plz guide.

Don’t buy new one. Get it repaired from magzi lane or tariq road (but only from professional guy) it will become brand new

Got my Suzuki Swift 2015 to Service center in Islamabad for knocking and no pickup that happened suddenly. They checked the spark plug cable and one of them was short or something, They changed one cable, used for 4000 and it got better. Came back but while driving in second gear the car starts to knock.
Should I go back or change all set of cables or check spark plugs from some other garage.
Kindly advise. Thx

Check all ignition coils and spark plugs. If one goes bad then rest might as well. Usually all 4 coils are replaced.

New coils. They are somewhat pricey but much longer life than kabli coils. If you are are unsure you can take your car to @dani_kk or @rajaatta for peace of mind.

Swift has 2 coils as it has wasted spark ignition system.

Check your spark plugs as well. Knocking and missing are 2 different issues. What exactly is the problem?
