Aoa all
I am planning to buy Suzuki Swift but am bit scared by some random comments on its poor fuel consumption (on petrol). Those who have Suzuki Swift or those who have travelled on this car, can please suggest on fuel consumption aspect of the vehicle.
Thanks!
ITs is a 1348 or 1328 CC car, ---- the fuel consumtion for this hatchback, will be the same as New Corolla XLi, Liana, New City.
tough I dont know the the consumption for it, and she is above 1300CC for this I dont give a thought to it.
@poster
I am getting 13-15 Km/l in city and 14-17 on highway with A/C.
@poster buddy liana and swift has more r less same engn as liana hv so its almost same setup in a small body bcoz liana has trunk and swift is a hatch back so reduction in weight means gain in power and bettr cnsumption aswell.i owned liana nd it used to cover 12-13 km in a litre of petrol.so according to me swift's cnsumption should b bettr than liana.the people who say its not efficient because they might drive it on relitivly hard pedal because its a hatch with 1300cc tht is the reason it changes the mind nd driving mode of d driver thts y it gives bad average.but if you drive it in routine manner and dont push it hard i'm sure it'l give good average.
sir milage at first will not be good u will get around 300km from one tank of petrol thats around 8km/l in city with ac and after the 1000km tuning the milage will increase u will get atleast 400km in one tank if petrol.. just mix hi octane and super petrol for better milage and perfromance
ive seen a problem with swift in its rear suspension.correct me if im wrong but every time i see a person sitting on back seat the body is like touching the tyres not literally but it means body goes way too low from back and high from front
i was planning to buy one for me wife but now opting for something else.Ironically there are not much choices swift is still best value in its category and far better than new cheap cultus.
I have no such experience at all. I am using it since 14 months and never ever i got below 11.5 and that too first 3000. I have never got anything below 12.5 since last one year and usually get above 13.5 and upto 14.5.
thats what i experienced it may be a cause of poor petrol quality but after the 1000km checkup and tuning the mileage definetly increased
sir its is not a problem with the suspension it does stoop down from tha back no doubt on that but its because there is very little weight on the rear of the swift so to prevent the back from sliding out the company have taken this measure
the air pressure in the front wheels of the swift is 33psi and in the rear its 30psi just to weigh down the rear of the car..
The new Swift is truly an amazing product. small, full ov features, fun to drive, powerful, value for money, and God knows vot else!
And in full weight(5 passenger + load) recommnded pressure is 33 in front and 36 in rear.
okthanks for clarifying
