As far as piercing is concerned Our Prohphet (P.B.U.H) said that "if a man tries to look like a women and vice versa or if he's dressed up like a women and vice versa i curse on him/her."
So piercing is totally a women's game so avoid it.

@reddevils: I think you made a very sensible point about the common pakistani. I see a lot of people on the forum trying to enforce their version of Islam and not willing to listen to anyones interpretation or understanding of it. I had a discussion with a fellow memeber c123pk who eventually ended up throwing insults at me and Islam because he could not comprehend the quotes of the Quran, my understanding of it and a vast majority's understanding of it. I agree with you 100% that you, me or any mullah (or a super one for that matter) have NO right to tell one another what is right or what is wrong. The only true source for guidance is the Quran. However, if you want someone's personal opinion on the issue there is no better person's opinion than that of our prophet (saw). Accepting his personal opinion or refusing it is one's personal decision.

thats the prob. in pakistan !!! mostly people like to insert there finger in others business !!!!! the youngsters in KSA wear football niccker (which is above from knee ) !! in namaz no one bugs them!!!!!!! they say that he is coming for namaz in mosque ... thats batter then wearing proper cloth and don't come for namaz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as far as i know the only business fingering people are Pakistani!!!!!!! most of us think that there way is the highway !!!!!!!!!

@haseeb: I once had an ignorant fool tell me not to pray while i was wearing shorts in a mosque. I just ignored him and continued with my prayers. As the Quran says:

"Show forgiveness, speak for justice and avoid the ignorant." (Quran, 7:199)

the least you should do while offering prayers is to cover up your "sattar", and unless you do that, your prayers would be makrooh. Why offer prayers then if the whole exercise goes to waste just because you are not dressed up appropriately? why does anyone offer prayer btw? I assume to come in direct contact with your Lord, if thats the level of respect you are showing to your Lord by standing in front of Him in some cheeky shorts, then i guess you better not even stand in front of Him. Atleast i cannot even think of going in front of my parents in an inappropriate dress, so then how could i when i'm considering going in front of my Lord?

^^^^ do u think its batter to insult some one in mosque due to cloths ..... and the break his habit of praying in mosque!!!!! because when i wear tatoo shirts i avoid going to mosque because i know i will face some brick head !!!!! TRY TO MAKE PEOPLE COME TO mosque !!!! and if a person doesn't feel comfy in mosque he will never go there!!!!!!

and do u think Allah cant change the namazi habit and clothings!!! allah can do anything!!!! leave the HEDAAYET part to allah and just make people come to mosque!!!!!!! not run away!!!!

dude you are not doing any favour to Him by offering prayers :d Allah doesnt need your prayers! Its just that He wants to see who among us is dutiful and who is not. This life is a test for us. If you dont go to mosque or offer your prayers, believe me, He couldnt care any less for that. He doesnt need any favours from us!

speaking of Hidayat (the right path), so to let you know He only gives Hidayat to those who seek Hidayat. Have you heard of free will? He infused this thing called Free Will into us and left us on our own to decide our own fate.

In other words, when we offer prayers, hum Uss par koi ihsan nahin karte..if you cannot dress up appropriately, simply do not bother offering prayers at all as we are not doing any sort of favour to Him.
