My two cents, a hood ornament should not be too complicated as is this one, rather it should be a simple design.If it is a complex design then it should be one sold piece and flowing in nature.

We're going to chrome plate the fuel tank later.

These side pipes are purely ornamental. The "functional" exhausts run under the cabin of the car, pass through massive mufflers, and exit through 2.5 inch down-pipes. If I'd kept these side pipes functional...not ONLY would they have deafened me, their heat would have fried me to a crisp, as well.

The pipes are ornaments, Doc. I'll be getting another set made, which will be very different from these ones.

You're right on one account certainly. The few traditional car makers that do still incorporate hood ornaments use solid figurines (Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Mack, Merc etc). Elsewhere in this thread though, I mentioned that the hood ornament on Sleipnir is based on actual ancient rune-stones and scripts...which is why I'm going to keep it exactly the way it is. Rather than detract from the overall effect, I think the ornament serves to accentuate the length of the hood...and its curves and contours, offset the ramrod-straight lines, too.

Besides...I like it.

We actually removed this panel, to give a 'peekaboo' at the engine bay, suspension and wiring. All of this will be detailed and meticulously polished / buffed / coordinated.

Nicely done sir. Just an observation. Will the front tyre size remain the same? Isn't the veh slightly bent down from the front. Why not to get bigger and slim tyres on the same rims?
