But which series is available here in Pakistan? You will have to confirm from Zafar Enterprises (the official importers of Michelin passenger car tyres in Pakistan, and if you wanna buy properly imported, non-smuggled tyres), or markets, but in markets, 90-97% tyres will be smuggled ones!

Problem is in the way smuggled tyres are transported. Also, smuggled tyres can also be tampered while in case of imported Tyre, chances are less.

Hashim bhai do tire mall sell orig imported tires. If you remember you got me Yokohama and now its time again for tires. Apparently only tire point metro has got yokahama with sheikh brothers stickers n warranty but they are very expensive. Any other option in pindi isb for authentic yet not expensive tires.

Also considering xm2 energy savor. How do u compare it with yokaham advan db

sir how can we justify price difference between a smuggled tyre and imported tyre....price difference too much....more than 10K in case of yoko blue earth

it is not custom n non custom it is how the tire was handled in transit. have u seen how the smuggler transport the tires. watch it on YouTube

Why smuggled tyre is unsafe? This is because, you do not know how that tyre entered your country (on camels, khacharrs, trucks, containers, etc.)? how the tyres were handled? Did one tyre was a single tyre, or had 3-5 tyres hidden inside it? Then manufacturing dates can also be tempered (as all rightly said by @sameerulhaq064 brother too)

Michelin XM2 series is also good, but go for and prefer Energy Saver / Energy Saver Plus Series. You can also ask Tyre Point and Zafar Enterprises, if tyres in this series can be sourced? If not, then you may go for any current series for passenger cars tyres, be it XM2 or any other series.

Pakistan is a small market, even for tyres. We do not have much to choose from.

Michelin XM2 is also a part of "Energy" Series, but Energy saver, and especially now, Energy saver Plus series is the trend. As per http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Michelin/Energy-Saver-Plus.htm , this Energy saver + series has replaced Energy saver series.

I have checked Michelin US ( https://www.michelinman.com/browse-all-tires/ ) and UK ( https://www.michelin.co.uk/auto/browse-tyres/by-family/energy ) websites, Energy saver and Energy saver Plus series is there, but I could not find XM2 series (May be, it is old / obsolete, or not suitable for US / UK). On Malaysian website ( https://www.michelin.com.my/auto/tyres/michelin-energy-xm2 ) it is there. So I think, it varies from region to region.
