Dot3, I would recommend you go with Honda City.
I remember reading an article that compared Toyota Yaris, Chevrolet Aveo5, and the Honda Fit. It ranked Honda Fit the first, Chevrolet Aveo5 in the second place, and the Toyota Yaris in the third place.
That means that the Toyota Yaris is the poorest cars among the three cars. This is why I'd suggest that go with the Honda City, which is basically the same car as the Fit. If you can increase your budget and move to the compact-car class, from sub-compact, I'd suggest the Corolla because it is a better car for everyday transport than the Yaris or the Honda City/Fit and offers better features (safety, comfort, convenience, volume) than the both the other cars.
