Hi,

I am living in USA and thinking to take my car toyota Camry 2007 with me to Lahore. do you guys think ill be able to sell it there and whats the procedure, plz let me know if anyone has done this before

Yeah take it with you cuz Camry's prices are at its peak here.Another option is to sell your camry there and get a new good car here.(Y)(Y)

buyers for camry in PK are limited and since its left hand drive you wont get a good price. also duties and taxes which you have to pay on this car will be very high. you will most likely suffer a loss

its useless to bring here ........ get the old shape 2006 one .when you come to pakistan...its for 19laks

i think i can get it for tax free i heard there is some law that after 3 years staying here i can bring one car tax free. stilll needs to find details tho but if this is true then i dont feel its bad deal. if i try to sell here all i get would be 15K US$ but in Pak i think ill get more then that

And you tell you the truth, more than likely, your Camry is built in the USA (if its VIN starts with a number; if the VIN starts with a J, then its imported from Japan). I have a US built Camry here in the US as well, and I can tell you that compared to the Japanese models, the US built quality is far inferior to that of the Japanese. My 2007 Camry squeaks and rattles everywhere.

The ones you get in Pakistan, are RHD and are built in Japan. NOTHING beats that.

Just a little correction, those Camry, Prado and LC sell here by Toyota (IMC) are Thailand build not the Japan ones, unless they are in-person imports.

here 07 camry is available at 30 lacks around 25k driven , so briging from usa is not a wise choice at all
